Why heavy items get their own plan
Most damage to heavy items — and most injuries — happen on stairs and at transitions: the top step, the threshold, the edge of the truck ramp. So that's where our planning goes. We look at every turn on the route and decide in advance where the crew stands, how the weight is carried, and where it rests.
If you're moving a safe, empty it first and let us know the weight and dimensions. Gun safes should be unloaded and the firearms transported separately by you.
